Who we are

North Atlantic Terrain Atlas Ltd, company number 14839271, of 18 Calder Street, Edinburgh EH3 9QF, UK, operates niftycornercottags.com. Contact the privacy desk at [email protected].

Information collected

This static website does not operate an account system, advertising network or analytics platform. If you use the contact form, your name, email address, selected region, season, experience type, approximate travel period and message may be provided by you. The form currently validates in your browser and does not transmit those fields to a backend. If you email us directly, we receive the information in your email.

Cookies and storage

The site uses local storage to remember your cookie-banner choice. This is functional site storage rather than an advertising cookie. The implementation contains no active analytics processor. Your browser may also retain ordinary technical information when loading the site, such as network and server request data, under the policies of the hosting provider.

Purposes and retention

Information sent by email is used to answer enquiries, maintain correspondence and meet legal obligations where applicable. We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, then delete it under our ordinary records process. We do not sell personal information or use contact details for unrelated marketing without an appropriate lawful basis.

Processors and transfers

No external form, customer relationship management tool or analytics processor is connected to the form in this implementation. Email services and website hosting may process technical or message data when you contact us. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. International transfers, if any, are handled using safeguards required by applicable law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection where applicable. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and complain to a supervisory authority. Depending on your location, California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including knowledge, access, correction, deletion and limits on certain uses. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Security and changes

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures, but no internet transmission is guaranteed secure. This policy may change when the implementation changes. The current version is posted on this page. Questions should be sent to the privacy contact above.
